Created at the end of 2013, Fragus BR Motorsport is a Swedish Formula Renault 2.0 team based on the structure of multiple Nordic champion Bohlin Racing.

While Julien Gerbi – ex-single seater driver involved in drivers’ development since many years – took over the team management at the beginning of 2014, the track engineer René Eder (various German Porsche Carrera Cup & Porsche Supercup titles) joined the team early 2016 and took over the responsibility of Robin Hansson’s car. The mechanical department is leaded by experienced Jimmy Bohlin and Johan Skyllkvist, seen during many years in Formula Renault 2.0, STCC and WTCC.

Behind the wheel, we have seen the young Swedish driver Robin Hansson (Formula BMW Talent Cup reigning champion, Vice-European Karting Champion) running our number 8 car, and scoring several top 10 (Silverstone, Spa) in his rookie year. On our car number 49 has been seen at Most (Czech Republic) the more experienced Swiss-German Cédric Freiburghaus.

16 years-old from Sweden Oliver Söderström and 15 years old Spaniard Arturo Melgar also joined the team for some testing at the end of 2014, which saw our team involved in North European Cup and in a couple of rounds of the Formula Renault 2.0 Eurocup.

Fragus BR Motorsport took part to a couple of rounds in Formula Renault 2.0 NEC, with Robin Hansson and Oliver Söderström. Some excellent results in pre-season testing were followed by the races at Monza and Silverstone.

Then, the team decided to orientate toward closed cockpit cars and joined the Porsche Carrera Cup. Robin Hansson scored two podiums at Falkenberg and Karlskoga, one pole position and also competed in international rounds.

In the next years, Fragus BR Motorsport aims to be one of the main Porsche Carrera Cup teams in Europe. To reach this point, the team decided to work a lot on drivers’ development and to provide them the best tools on and off track. While the workshop is based in Karslkoga, including a full access to the race track for testing and driver development, the team also owns a massive simulator facility in its offices at Gothenborg, including two full motion simulators with various single-seater and GT models and all the European circuits for unlimited training.
