Karlskoga : Hansson tops the charts
Fragus BR Motorsport went to Karlskoga for the first official test day of the Porsche Carrera Cup Scandinavia 2016, with regular Fragus driver Robin Hansson driving the number 31 and 2014 Champion Oscar Palm driving the number 2.
For the first time of the season, both cars were on track while newcomer René Eder took the responsibility of the engineering part. It was also the opportunity to present the team’s new colors for the 2016 season.
In wet conditions in the morning, Hansson, from Kullavik, set rapidly the pace in front of Supercup driver Sven Müller followed by Mats Karlsson and Jocke Mangs. Oscar Palm finished the morning session in 6th position.
In the afternoon session, the track conditions improved allowing all drivers to set slick tyres. In used tyres, Hansson positioned his Porsche in P1 with Palm in P4. The rain made its appearance at the moment both drivers set new tyres, and eventually finished in P2 and P6.
A positive first official test for Fragus, who will now travel to Anderstorp for the second collective test of the season on April 21st.
